Two Phrases That Destroyed American Culture - Violent Acres

Amen!

From the page: "The phrase 'The Customer is Always Right' is the single worst philosophy that has ever been adopted by American culture. It gave an entire generation of people the green light to be as impolite, unreasonable, and demanding as their little hearts desired because they were always going to be considered right. It destroyed the entire concept of courtesy and rendered manners obsolete. People began to treat their peers in the service industry like incompetent morons, lacking in feelings or human dignity, who deserved to be browbeaten and abused for no other reason than they had the audacity to run out of a particular brand of coffee. Furthermore, instead of suffering negative repercussions for their appallingly disrespectful behavior, they are awarded with free coupons and plenty of ass kissing. In reality, they should be shunned and humiliated for behaving like such self absorbed little children. "

I saw a pod on Current TV titled "Visionary Art Visionary" showcasing Cristine Cambrea, and I just fell in love with her work!

I had a substitute teacher in 9th grade that taught us this technique. He named individual items, and through a Memory Palace taught us how to connect and remember each object in order.

5 years later, I can still tell you each and every one of those items.

Glass, Ceiling, eiffel tower, robe, rose, tire, door, pencil, elephant, street, ring and ashtray.

I made this video in Journalism class my junior year. My brother was writing a story on different types of dancing, and we got a bunch of students to dance to different music. I edited them together and put a track on top of it and voila!

Celebmonkey: Entertainment World Braces for Britneys Next Blowout

I'm so sick of everyone going on and on about Britney Spears' latest drama. Honestly, who cares?

There are far more important things to worry about/talk about in this world today.

Instead of littering StumbleUpon with pointless blogs about how Britney's going to explode, why not thumbs-up articles actually worth reading about?

Like how Florida is having one of the worst droughts in state history, and it's affecting this and next years crops, Or how President Kibaki assigned rival Odinga to be Kenya's Prime Minister because of the recent riots that have killed over 1000 people. Hell, even the latest news on the World Championship of Beer Pong would have made for a more interesting read.
